Well is been a whole year and time flies that’s for sure! My first full calendar year in business was a success! Thanks to all my clients, blog readers and facebook friends:) You are the best and I couldn’t have done it with out you. I have learned so much this year about myself and my business. I am writing down goals for 2011 and there will be lots in store for the coming year for my business. Starting with a workshop I’m attending in just 2 short weeks in Phoenix! Yay- so excited for that. I’m not going to lie looking forward to warmer weather too! I also want to change up a few things here on the blog so stay tuned.
We had a lot of things happen this year in our family- Chris and I bought a house & rented out our condo, survived without electric for 4 days and bailed out our sump pump 2 weeks after we moved in so all of our belongings in the basement didn’t get flooded out, Joyce recovered from her surgery and 2nd bout of Cancer, Chris switched careers and became a Realtor, my mom was diagnosed with Cancer along with 3 other people close to us, Marissa graduated from Culinary School, Marissa and Mike planned their upcoming February wedding, Patrick and Kelli got engaged, Kelli got her Masters and a well deserved promotion(yay!), Madison grew 8 inches it seems:) (she is 10 and is as tall as me almost!), we hosted the first Thanksgiving in our new home, welcomed all of our friends new babies(7 total!) and met many new people whom we now call friends. Whew that’s a lot.

Nate, Brenden & Chase: 1 year, Birthday Party & 18 months. I love visiting with these 3- they crack me up every time! This family continues to amaze me:)

This was a great year for my business- I started blogging more, started a facebook fan page, upgragded my camera and flash, shot my first wedding, changed my business cards 2 times(and I want to change it slightly again!) and really improved my shooting and composition. I like how my skills have improved and I’m doing less post procession and keeping the images clean. I still have a lot to learn and am truely looking forward to 2011. Have a safe and happy new year everyone! Heading to VT in less then an hour- have to pack!
