Well I finally had the chance to meet Kevin and his wife Kelly. Kevin and I started talking over email months ago through my friends cousin’s neighbor- did I get that right? It feels like we have been planning this session for months because we have! Kevin is a photographer as well so he wanted to have some shots with him in them and not behind the lens. I know your pain, always the one taking the photos, never in the photos. Well it’s coming up on their 5 year anniversary so it was time to have some more portraits taken. We had amazing weather, and beautiful afternoon light! We shot in a couple different locations near their home and we also ventured into downtown Philly. I haven’t been to Philly in probably 20 years! Crazy I know, it’s not that far but I just haven’t gone- don’t really know why? The city is really beautiful and I didn’t really remember anything from the last time I was there. It was really a great session and we had so much fun together. It was like we already knew each other- I love sessions like that. I think with Kevin’s blog and my blog we kinda already did know each other- ha the wonder of the internet! Now you have some beautiful shots for your front living room- the problem is going to be which ones to choose to put up on those walls! Enjoy the photos and Happy Anniversary. To many more:)
I really like this next one.
Great lighting here and it was sooooo crowded! You cant tell by the photos but there were no empty benches so I had to crop in to make sure the guy who was sitting to the right didn’t get in the shot. I love the 50mm- great lens!
These next 2 are my favorites of the day! Love them & I think they are the exact shots Kelly wanted from this shoot.
The train station is beautiful! With huge windows letting in tons of light.
Kelly & Kevin more beautiful shots to come & thanks for the pizza. I was great getting to know you and hope we can hang out again soon.
