Yesterday I took my parents, AKA “The Patients,” and my Aunt Carolyn who is visiting from Chicago on a scenic drive from Atlantic Highlands down the shore to Spring Lake. \u00a0We stopped along the way to see how the beach rebuilding is coming along. \u00a0Things are looking great in most areas and it looks like the beaches will be open this summer for swimming and summer time fun.<\/p>\n

One of our first stops was the scenic overlooking the NY harbor, it was so clear we could see all the way to Long Island!<\/p>\n

My parents who look amazingly well for having chemo and open heart surgery:) \u00a0So thankful that everyone is on the mend!<\/p>\n

We got onto the beach in Long Branch at Seven Presidents Park Beach. \u00a0Some people were sunbathing but I think it was a bit too windy for that!<\/p>\n

We had to top the day off with Hoffman’s Ice Cream<\/a>– Yum! \u00a0Some of the best ice cream near my parents house. \u00a0It’s so good we have been known to wait an over an hour to have a cone. \u00a0\ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n
