Things I don’t miss about Hoboken:<\/p>\n

1. Parking- it is SOOOOO nice to pull into a driveway you have no idea!\u00a0 We do a little dance every time we get out of the car- well not really but almost:)\u00a0 No more driving around and around and around to look for a parking spot.\u00a0 Plus we can actually go out and run errands after work with out the fear that we will never find a spot.<\/p>\n

2. Walking up 4 flights of stairs and carrying up those stairs anything we need\/want in the apartment.\u00a0 Think about it- anything you want, food, furniture, etc- you have to carry up no matter how heavy it is.\u00a0 This is why we hired movers to move us in and out of the apartment.<\/p>\n

3. The fact that our parents can come over and not have to walk up those 4 flights of stairs.\u00a0 They love this as much, if not more than we do I’m sure:)<\/p>\n

4. Lugging food, grill tools, beverages & plates down 5 flights of stairs, through the basement and up into the backyard to grill in the summer.\u00a0 I did however LOVE the fact that we had a backyard in Hoboken because most people do not.\u00a0 This was one of the main reasons I purchased the apartment.\u00a0 We would never have lasted 5.5 years in that space if we didn’t have the backyard.<\/p>\n

I do however miss hanging out with friends or walking around town and people watching while sitting at an outdoor restaurant.\u00a0 But I realized we can still do those things I love to do- just with a little more planning than in the past.\u00a0 I am so glad to visit, but then return home to our house with a yard, driveway, basement, 3 bedrooms, garage(AKA- lots more space).\u00a0 I also miss the flowers at the corner of 11th and Garden.\u00a0 I used to walk by them every day on the way to the bus.\u00a0 So pretty.\u00a0 Took these after our session the other weekend.<\/p>\n
