Some of you may not know this but I was in a car accident in our Mini Cooper<\/a> about a month ago.\u00a0 Long story short I was hit from behind and forced into oncoming traffic on a 2 way street and did a 360 degree spin.\u00a0 It was raining and the roads were slick.\u00a0 No one was seriously injured which is the good thing in all this:)\u00a0 And the Mini kept me very safe(You should have seen the Toyota)\u00a0 However our Mini has died- which is the bad thing in all this:(\u00a0 I was sad but my husband is even more sad- he loved that car like a person!\u00a0 I liked the car- it was fun, easy to park in Hoboken but it was difficult for Chris to drive his clients around in.\u00a0 Everything happens for a reason, right?\u00a0 (Chris doesn’t like that phrase, especially when it has to do with the cooper)\u00a0 Instead of getting another Mini we opted for a Subaru Imprezza<\/a> 5 door- lots of room for people and stuff!\u00a0 In the mini we had room for people or<\/em> stuff!\u00a0 Well we did have the roof rack but what if it was raining?\u00a0 Plus the new car is still small enough to still easily park in the city areas.\u00a0 Not to mention all wheel drive for the snow- last year we had like 4 feet of snow.\u00a0 Because we now have all wheel drive I’m sure it will only snow 4 inches.\u00a0 And there are lower maintenance costs- that mini was expensive!<\/p>\n

A trip down memory lane with the mini, these were all taken with my phone over the past 2 years.\u00a0 We had the car for over 5 years!<\/p>\n

Carting lots of wine, a pumpkin and 4 people home from our weekend in Hudson Valley<\/a>:<\/p>\n
