WOW June flew past for me this year and I can’t believe July 4th weekend is already upon us.\u00a0 Where did the time go???\u00a0 On to another month and another set of goals that I will try very hard to accomplish(especially going to the beach).<\/p>\n

A review of my June Goals:<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. remove the old ditsy wallpaper from the downstairs bath and paint the walls.\u00a0 *Since I didn’t get to this in May or June and it may still be here in September:) but I will add it to the July list for now.<\/li>\n
  2. blog minimum 3 times a week<\/del> *did this- yay!\u00a0 Going to keep it up in July<\/li>\n
  3. go to the beach at least once<\/del> *technically went to the beach<\/a> for this wedding.\u00a0 However I’m adding a revision to my July goals on this one:)<\/li>\n
  4. order a 7×7 inch sample wedding parent album to show my clients\u00a0 *going on the July list<\/li>\n
  5. test out Animoto<\/a>, I have a free 30 day trial!\u00a0 Stay tuned for some fun slideshows.<\/del> *tried this out and you can see a slideshow here<\/a> but I don’t think it’s right for my business at this time.\u00a0 I’ve been trying other slide shows on my blog which I think fit more with my brand:)<\/li>\n
  6. update my website & blog with photos of myself- This weekend Nadya<\/a> will be taking some photos of me for this one!\u00a0 I’m a little nervous- ha<\/del> *done and check out my updated website here<\/a>!<\/li>\n
  7. finish my wedding client sample website using images from Lori and Jason’s wedding<\/a> I photographed last year.<\/del> *done but I haven’t blogged about it yet, hope to show you next week!<\/li>\n
  8. Find a creative way to use my access to personal client websites via Showit<\/a> for my family clients- any ideas fellow Photogs out there?<\/del> *done and you can view the one I designed for Casey & Jack’s family here<\/a>.<\/li>\n
  9. clean all the windows in my house that I don’t have to climb a 20 foot ladder for, inside and out!\u00a0 *going on the July list<\/li>\n
  10. paint the downstairs 1\/2 bath vanity\u00a0 *going on the July list<\/li>\n
  11. organize the basement shelves\u00a0 *going on the July list<\/li>\n
  12. Add client testimonials to my website- if you are a past client email me a few words about your experience and I will add them to my site.\u00a0 *almost done but going on the July list and it will get done!<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    For July I am so, so busy with 1 or 2 or 3 weddings per weekend!\u00a0 Today is day 1 of a triple header for me:)\u00a0 Looking forward to it.\u00a0 I am hoping to complete these but won’t be crushed if I can’t finish them all:<\/p>\n

    1. Add client testimonials to my website- if you are a past client email me a few words about your experience and I will add them to my site.\u00a0 Since this is almost complete I want to get this done first!<\/li>\n

    7. order a canvas of Chris and I for our living room- doing this today!\u00a0 can’t wait to show you photos in a blog post<\/li>\n
    8. add some music to my website<\/li>\n
    9. purchase\/license 2 more songs for slideshow music<\/li>\n
    10. purchase some type of file folder organizing system- paperwork is out of control over here!\u00a0 Thinking of going to the container store which can be a bad idea for a person like me.\u00a0 I heart organization:)<\/li>\n
    11. blog minimum 3 times a week<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      Have a great 4th everyone!\u00a0 We are heading to my sister’s roof deck in JC for some grilling, corona and fireworks.\u00a0 Looking forward to it!<\/p>\n
