Since Buenos Aires was very much like NYC we were so excited to fly to the wine country in western Argentina: Mendoza.\u00a0 It was hot here.\u00a0 We ate, drank wine, took a cooking class and ate some more.\u00a0 Eating was a big part of this vacation.\u00a0 This photo below photos are in Vines Of Mendoza<\/a> which offers wine tastings from many different local wineries and also ships home as much wine as you want!\u00a0 We have 2 cases coming:)<\/p>\n

The 2nd day we took a cooking class at Familia Zuccardi<\/a> winery, along with a wine tour, lunch, and a peak inside the wine celler this might be my most favorite day of the trip!<\/p>\n

We ended the evening at 1884<\/a> a Francis Mallmann<\/a> restaurant- such good food!\u00a0 Finding this restaurant was the best adventure of the whole trip.\u00a0 It’s located inside an old warehouse\/vineyard totally obscured from the street with no signage.\u00a0 So only people in the know can find it and our cab driver was not in the know.\u00a0 He kept telling us, “There are no restaurants there, it is not a good neighborhood, I don’t know why you want to go there.”<\/em> We pulled over to ask for directions and low and behold the man we asked was the door man for the restaurant who opened up these huge gates to let the cab drive inside(see 3rd photo below).\u00a0 It was a beautiful restaurant inside and they had seating with a huge larger than life grill outside.<\/p>\n
