For those of you who don’t know Chris and I recently moved to a new(well 100 year old farm house but new to us!) home.\u00a0 My 1st post you can find here<\/a> with photos of the inside and the newly sanded floors.\u00a0 Well we have almost<\/em> finished the dining room!\u00a0 I am still in need of a chandelier and we also need to paint the door that leads onto the side porch which you can see in the far right photo below.\u00a0 Maybe I will get to painting the door this month since I have 6 days off of work for all the Jewish Holidays:)\u00a0 I am excited about that- I need a break!\u00a0 I also wanted to install one of those plaster ceiling medallions when we get a chandelier and maybe add curtains at some point down the line.<\/p>\n

The hutch is from my Great Aunt and goes really well with the house!\u00a0 I was thinking to paint it but Chris said I shouldn’t.\u00a0 What do you think?<\/p>\n

The table is my parents old, old kitchen table and the chairs were my grandmothers but we want to replace them and get a set of 8 chairs since the table opens up.\u00a0 I also painted wide 1 foot stripes on the top portion of the walls with semi gloss paint in the same hue.\u00a0 The ink drawing on the left is of our house and was given to use by our Realtor- it’s really nice!\u00a0 I will have to get a better photo of that and post it.\u00a0 The painting on the left I got on the street in Madrid when we went to go visit my sister when she was studying abroad there.<\/p>\n

My mom got me this vase after our wedding- I love Kosta Boda<\/a>!\u00a0 I also have glasses with the same color in them that I got as a gift:)<\/p>\n

This dresser now turned side buffet was sitting in our Hoboken basement and no one claimed it.\u00a0 So we took it and after a major cleaning\u00a0 it looks great.\u00a0 Magic erasures work miracles!\u00a0 I was thinking to paint this piece too but I’m not sure.<\/p>\n

My succulent garden- so easy to care for!\u00a0 Although I think they want to have more light than they get in this spot.\u00a0 Winter will have more light for them since the leaves will fall off the trees.<\/p>\n
