This family was referred to me by my good friend Nicole whose daughter Abigail had newborn photos & 6 month photos taken. Thanks so much:) I love when fun families who are up for anything come my way. We had planned to do this session about 3 months ago but then the twins, Shaylen & Leo, got mono- no fun for photos. What 3 year old gets mono? I had mono Sophomore year of college- not fun. I stayed in bed for a week straight and the health center just thought I had a bad cold? I felt so bad for these two little ones and their parents. Not fun for anyone.
Anyway, everything happens for a reason- right? At least I like to think so. I think because we couldn’t do the session back in August that we were gifted amazing light and incredible fall weather and colors this past weekend. Throw in a shopping cart in the middle of a big field and the kids had a field day(pun intended- ha!) Enjoy the photos- too cute right! Is it me or are there way more sets of twins than there used to be?

The kids were getting a bit tired at this point but once we switched locations and they could run around they woke right up. I think we wore them out by the end:)

So in the middle of that BIG open field above sat this shopping cart- I loved these next few images when the kids climbed in.
This is why I love location shooting and doing what I do. The kids have so much fun- it’s way more relaxed than in a studio and you can be creative with what you find- LOVE it! FYI- you may get dirty:) But it will be fun.
Parents- you must get photos of just you 2 together because you probably haven’t had them taken since your wedding. Am I right?
