Another week closer to spring, that’s how I’m counting down these Monday posts, anyone else doing the same?

Over the past week I:

• Started following Kelly Slater on Instagram, I had a huge celeb surfer crush on him growing up!  Haha- guess I am really thinking about summer and the beach, but looking forward to spring will have to do for now.
• Finished painting our bedroom!  YAY- only 3 years in the making.  I am so excited it’s finished!  Well we still need to install white switches, outlets and cover plates, hang things on the walls and paint the closet door – but to me it’s finished:)  I even ordered a new lamp shade – photo to come when it arrives!
• Ate steak and drank champagne for our Valentines Day dinner!  Followed by watching Gone With the Wind on TV- such a great movie!
• Shot a wedding at The Carlyle Hotel inNYC- the views from the suite on the 31st floor were breathtaking!
• Watched When in Rome, How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days and Cars.  The only one I hadn’t seen is When in Rome which was a cheesy romance, but still cute and funny – at least to me!  It was also the only movie on TV Saturday night that I hadn’t seen before so the options were limited!
