Another Monday here on the blog, the first one of the new year!  Are you still keeping your resolutions?  I am keeping up with staying off the computer and phone after 6pm and it’s been lovely.  I actually am taking the time to just relax and watch Jeopardy- I even got the final Jeopardy question correct 2 times last week!  I know exciting news here but that doesn’t happen very often much less twice in one week.  haha.

Over the past week I:

• Photographed a New Years Eve Wedding, it was a gorgeous evening with twinkle lights all around.  Dream-like really.
• Sat on the couch all day New Years Day reading the book Beautiful Ruins and it felt great!  I really enjoy books that have the characters traveling or living in other countries.  Do you have any recommendations for me?  I’m on the hunt for my next read!
• Took the train to NYC for an interview for some freelance graphic design work- fingers crossed for me!  I am not very busy now so I think some freelance work will help fill in the slow time this winter.
• Saw Katherine and had a yummy dinner with her parents at the Dublin House in Red Bank.  I haven’t been there in over a year and I don’t think I’ve ever eaten there- the burger was delish!  And they have Guinness which makes my husband happy!
• Took down the Christmas tree and all the other decorations.  Only 11 months until they come out again:)
