Today is Chris’ birthday so he’s sleeping in, I’m getting some work done and then we are going to bake cookies and have a nice dinner – out at a restaurant or in – we can’t decide.  I’m leaving it up to him!

Over the past week I:

• Baked cookies for the Women’s Club cookie exchange, I got to take home lots of different and new ones to try.  Oh and yes I joined the Allendale Women’s Club last month, so far I met so many people and helped decorate for their Holiday Breakfast in town.  It’s a nice group of women who help out the community and I’m happy to be a member so far.
• Purchased and decorated our Christmas Tree, not on the same day.  😉
• Drove into the city to photograph the Dare to Care event for Hurricane Sandy victims, families could bring donations and holiday gifts for the victims and then decorate cookies, wrap presents, have a bite to eat and get your face painted.  It was such a nice event and I was happy to document it!
• Made 2 trips to the Home Depot for a faucet, the first BRAND NEW one was broken!!  Chris was fixing the dripping faucet which turned into installing a new one becuase the old one was so crusted and corroded and just plain old gross.
• Addressed all our holiday cards then found out(through friends on Facebook) that I could export the file from Excel to make labels, next year I will be doing that for sure!  I just handed them off to the mailman.  It feels good to get them out!
