Brooke had emailed me a while ago and had this great plan for her father’s 60th birthday weekend in NYC that included a Jazz Night out and a SURPRISE family photo session for them all in Hoboken. This was right up my alley and we had so much fun together. They told their dad the night before over dinner at Amanda’s. Brooke’s family was so personable, fun to be around and made me laugh the whole time. They were relaxed and just had a good time which, in my book, is what getting your family photo taken should be all about!

These next 2 are my absolute favorites from the session- a fun time and great light- it was perfect! I think the sun flare adds to the festiveness of the day. I’m so glad we walked here guys- thanks for being troopers. Hope the brunch and “man-mosas” afterwards made up for all the walking we did around town:) I so wish I could have enjoyed one with you!
OK so I really loved so many with the birthday party blowers- how fun does this look?
