The Berkshires

First I’m going to say that if you ever get a call to go see a time share and you will get some visa gift card or free stay or some other gift- DON’T DO IT unless you reallllly want to buy a time share.  They barely let you escape their little seminar without one.  That said The Berkshires in MA are so beautiful.  I’ve never been- we usually go to Vermont or Hudson Valley NY for our trips to the country side.  So when I got a call to visit and go to the time share seminar I thought, “How bad could it be?”  Everything after the time share seminar was great.  We stopped at a restaurant and ordered take out which we ate picnic style at a apple farm/winery.  We tried the wine, ate some apple cider donuts and enjoyed the day.  Hopefully we will go back to explore some more.  I would love to go hiking there.  Not serious hiking but the kind where you bring a bottle of wine and enjoy the trails, have a picnic and take in the view.

First off we had to wake up really early so we got a chance to see the sunrise over Manhattan.  This doesn’t happen very often with us!
