We had to reschedule their session a few times due to rain this summer, I am all for keeping the grass green but it’s been raining so hard at times this summer that the water just runs off and down to the sewer and doesn’t’ really help anything grow. We finally had a perfect summer evening – it wasn’t so hot that we were all sweaty and it hadn’t rained yet that day so the grass was dry. We caught some golden rays from the sun and walked around Brookdale Park playing with a pinwheel and soccer ball decorated with Minnie Mouse of course, because what little girl doesn’t like Minnie? Little brother Brandon was all smiles and can’t wait to get up, run around and play with his big sister. Enjoy!

Thank you so much for taking such great pictures. You captured our family beautifully!
That little girl is the most photogenic kid I think I have ever seen. That black and white shot of her running with the pinwheel captures the carefreee spirit of childhood perfectly and the fact that she is running away from the camera makes it so easy for the viewer to identify with her.
These pictures are gorgeous! I love the colors. Alex looks adorable in her festive tutu and I love Brandon’s chunky legs. Great photos!
I agree with Ken about the black and white pinwheel shot, and she is most certainly photogenic! You took so many beautiful shots of this gorgeous family. I especially love the shot of Brandon’s little feet as he is sitting on Daddy’s lap. Oh how every mother misses the sight of those little feet, and now she has a great shot to remember them with! Lovely work.
That last pic…Alex has Iris’ inner fashionista!! 🙂
Wow! What beautiful pictures!! I love the attention to detail, capturing those special moments and interesting parts that sometimes we don’t notice. Amazing shots and such a beautiful family!!! Congrats Iris and Steven!!!
You guys look great, love the setting – of course Iris matched the kids for the shoot 🙂
