It was so hazy and the air had tons of dust particles in it due to recent dust storms that you could hardly see the Andes Mountains from the city of Mendoza so when we started driving and came upon this we were blown away:

We kept driving Route 7 all the way to Punta del Inca where it was much colder. We were only about 100 km from Santiago, Chile here. The scenery was beautiful. Still some snow capped peaks even in early summer.
