I have to be honest I was a little nervous to do this session. Mostly because I only want the best for my sister and Mike but I was also really excited to take these photos for them! Weird mix I know. Well the day finally was chosen and then there was a Hurricane that never was so all remained on track. Now they can check this off their long wedding “to-do” list. Plus I am making the Save the Date cards for them so they can check that off too:) I’m also making a sign in guest book photo album for the reception so cross that off as well. Everything else is on you guys though- ha! Better get moving less than 6 months away.
Mike and Marissa really have something special and they are just so comfortably in love. They were friends first in college and hung out all the time. He liked her as more then friends but patiently waited for her to realize that she felt the same way. After college they started dating and they haven’t looked back. Whether they are hanging out on their couch watching the Yankee game or hosting all their friends over for a roof top party they are always in sync with each other. Something so special is between them and I am so excited for them to get married this February. I am in the wedding so I will not be their photographer but they are in good hands in that department. We walked around Central Park and then took the subway downtown to capture some more photos and grab a bite to eat. These came out fantastic and I had a hard time narrowing down. All that worrying for nothing- ha! Beautiful people + a beautiful day makes my job easy. Enjoy Marissa & Mike- Love you guys and cannot wait to celebrate your special day:)
This is one of my favorites of the day! Loved the lighting here.
This is my other favorite- love it!
Cheers to you guys and thanks for dinner. I love this place.
